About the Greymatter Gallery
Greymatter was established in 2011 out of the remnants of an old storage room. It is an artist-run space operated by Rachel Quirk and Zina Mussmann who recognize that artists are a driving force in culture. They believe in the power of artists to build new institutions through the power of collaboration. Their goal is to be a part of this dialogue by working with local and national artists in organizing diverse and thought provoking exhibitions. In 2017, it closed its doors and is now operating as an artist studio.
